01 — What Gets Collected

Two forms exist on this site, and they collect exactly what you type into them.

• Newsletter signup — your email address, the date you subscribed, and which page you signed up from.
• Contact form — your name, email, company, what you need, and your message.

02 — Where It Lives

The subscriber list is a single database on a server I rent and administer myself. There is no Mailchimp, no Substack, no ConvertKit — no third-party email platform holds a copy of the list. Emails are sent from a mail server I run. The fewer hands your data passes through, the fewer ways it leaks. That is the whole architecture philosophy this site teaches, applied to your inbox.

03 — What I Send

If you subscribe, you get the Starter Kit and the weekly dispatch — The CTO’s Desk. That’s it. Every email includes an unsubscribe link. Unsubscribing removes you from the list; you will not be moved to a “win-back sequence” or any other re-engagement scheme.

04 — What Never Happens

• Your email is never sold, rented, traded, or shared with anyone.
• No advertising pixels or third-party analytics run on this site.
• No data enrichment — I don’t look you up, score you, or append data about you.
• The site itself sets no tracking cookies.

05 — Service Providers

Like any website, traffic to this site passes through a CDN (Cloudflare) for DNS and caching, and the server lives in a rented data center. These providers handle traffic in transit the way any infrastructure provider does — none of them receives the subscriber list.

06 — Your Data, Your Call

Want to see what I have on you, correct it, or have it deleted? Email [email protected] and it’s handled — usually same week, no forms, no friction.

If this policy changes, the new version is posted here with a new effective date. No silent edits.
